Initially AutoCAD was derived from a program called Interact, which was written in a proprietary language. But now it can be used for various purposes. In mechanical engineering, it is used to create manufacturing processes as well as to design motor parts, robots and other innovative objects. AutoCAD was first introduced in the month of December in 1982 as a desktop app running on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers. It is a computer aided design as well as drafting software with which we can create precise 2-D and 3-D drawings. This application allows sharing of files with multiple people, no matter how large the file.
