SOC Analyst Internship/Course Details
Forensic Analysis:Perform forensic analysis on security incidents to understand the scope, impact, and root causes. Prioritize and address vulnerabilities to reduce the risk of exploitation. Collaboration with IT Teams:Work closely with IT teams to integrate security measures into the development and maintenance of systems and applications. Network and System Security:Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions. Security Reporting:Generate and present regular reports on the organization's security posture to management and relevant stakeholders. Document findings for future reference and improvement. Industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), may also be part of the training or pursued separately. . Security Policies and Compliance:Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
